“Just like the New Year, the birth of a new baby brings joy to every home and family. As parents, we need to sustain this joy by giving the children adequate care especially in immunisation.
This is one of the ways we can help them to grow up and become healthy and happy children that we will all be proud of,” she said.
In her remark, Category Manager, Skincare, Unilever Nigeria Plc, Mrs. Adetoun Adegbite commended the Lagos State Government for sustaining  the ‘First baby of the year’ initiative.
She said, “Our partnership with the First Lady of Lagos State is in line with our commitment to achieve our vision of making sustainable living commonplace. Children are the future of any nation. Supporting their families with our products to take care of them at this tender age, puts them on the right path of healthy growth and development.”
The joy of the visit was full of pleasant surprises with the presentation of pears products and cash gifts to the families of the newborn babies.
